The next morning, the animals were the first to wake. Once they began to stir, their owners woke and attempted to finish unpacking. It did not take long for all of the new roommates to take the back stairs that led into the normal kitchen. No one spoke as they scrounged around for something to eat.

"I past by this place in town," Brandon said. "We could head there for breakfast."

"I don't dine with attempted murderers," Reynaldo said, pertaining to Sara.

"If I wanted to kill you, you would not be standing here now, that I assure you."

Sara headed up the stairs to her room to change in privacy. Hoshiko watched this little exchange between Reynaldo and Sara. She truly wondered how this young woman, barely a woman, could survive in the world with such an attitude. Yet, with one look towards Reyanldo told the Shifter that people like him cause such attitudes; not the world. When Hoshiko left the kitchen, Brandon and Raven focused on Reynaldo. They knew Sara better than Rojo, and had decided to defend her, in a matter of speaking.

"I don't know who you are, or where you came from, but here, we don't go around accusing people of being attempted murderers without evidence," Raven said.

"Did you not recall what she did last night?"

"She was protecting her home against an intruder. Any one would do that," Brandon jumped in. "You should be grateful Sao even allowed you in last night."

With that, the two friends followed the womens' example and went upstairs. That left Reynaldo alone in the kitchen. Now alone, the Dragon had nothing to do but think on an empty stomach. Perhaps he was being arrogant with how he viewed others. He was new in the country, and had no right to act like he did. Perhaps it was due to the fact that he was still living based off of his old life in his father’s clan. It was hard on Reynaldo, knowing that he would have to one day take over as Alpha and rule the largest Red Dragon clan in all of Spain. Reynaldo knew he needed to apologize to Sara. So, he went upstairs and found Sara's room. The door was closed and Reynaldo knocked and waited. Sara opened the door wide enough to see who it was, but closed enough to block the man's view of her room and body.

"What do you want," Sara asked harshly.

"To apologize to you. It was wrong of me to act as I did last night and this morning."

Reynaldo lowered his gaze to the floor, a sign of submission that has been used time and again by many to assert their domination over others. In this case, Reynaldo was showing Sara that he was beneath her as he apologized. Sara saw this and wondered how this would effect their relationship in the long run if she decided to allow the Dragon to remain at the house.

"Tell me, Dragon. Why did you act like you did?"

Reynaldo was speechless. How did this Human know he was a Dragon? To him, Sara was a Human with no powers he knew off.
